Priscilla Johns Bond, DMD

After graduating from the University of Louisville School of Dentistry with her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree, Dr. Priscilla Johns Bond completed her pediatric dental specialty training at Indiana University and James Whitcomb Riley Hospital for Children. She completed a two-year fellowship with United Cerebral Palsy and has been providing dental care to children since 1985.

Dr. Bond is a Diplomate with the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry and is a member of the American Dental Association, Kentucky Dental Association and the Louisville Dental Society. She currently serves as faculty at the University of Louisville School of Dentistry in the Department of Pediatric Dentistry.

Dr. Bond has two grown boys and lives with two dogs. She loves photography, biking, hiking, and anything active.

Thomas G. Ison, DDS

Dr. Thomas Ison is a Board Certified Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry, and a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry and the American College of Dentists. He obtained his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the University of Kentucky College of Dentistry. He completed his specialty training in pediatric dentistry at the University of Kentucky Chandler Medical Center.  Dr. Ison also completed a United Cerebral Palsy Fellowship in Pediatric Dentistry at Riley Children’s Hospital and Indiana University School of Dentistry, in Indianapolis.

Dr. Ison has held faculty appointments at the University of Kentucky College of Dentistry, University of Louisville School of Dentistry and Indiana University School of Dentistry. He also served as Chief of Dentistry at Kosair Children’s Hospital (now Norton Children’s Hospital). His academic endeavors include lecturing on topics such as early childhood caries, dental trauma, care of the cancer patient, and pediatric sedation. Dr. Ison developed numerous policies and guidelines for the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry while serving on the Council on Clinical Affairs.

He has served in leadership roles in numerous dental professional organizations at the state, regional and national levels. He has served as President of both the Southeastern Society of Pediatric Dentistry and Kentucky Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, and District Trustee of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry. He holds membership in the American Dental Association, American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, Southeastern Society of Pediatric Dentistry, Kentucky Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, the Kentucky Dental Association, the Louisville Dental Society, and Kentuckiana Lactation Improvement Coalition.

A native of Kentucky, Dr. Ison has been blessed with a loving wife and daughter, as well as a dog and cat. His hobbies include traveling with his family, sports and the occasional running race. He is active in his church community.
