Modified Policies during COVID-19

Scheduling Appointments

  • Some future previously-scheduled appointments may need to be rescheduled to ensure proper distancing between patient-care stations – our staff will call you in advance
  • New appointments can be made by calling the office during regular business hours, you can also leave a message outside of business hours
  • If anyone residing in your home is currently not well or has been ill in the last two weeks, please call the office to discuss if rescheduling your child’s appointment is necessary

Appointment Guidelines

  • We will call one or two days prior to your appointment to screen for updated health information, get any address changes and verify current insurance information
  • Make arrangements to bring only the children who have appointments with you – never leave unattended children in your car
  • Our waiting room and bathrooms are closed. Only the children with appointments will be admitted into the office – children 5 and under, or special need patients, may be accompanied by one parent or caregiver
  • Upon arrival for appointments, park in the marked spaces by our office entrance so we know where to find you and please remain in your car
  • Call our office to let us know you have arrived – put on facemasks covering both yours and your children’s nose & mouth. Facemasks are required throughout the visit for any parents/caregivers who accompany their child into our office.
  • A PDGL staff member will come out to meet you at the car. They will take a temperature reading with a non-contact thermometer for all patients and accompanying parent/caregivers.
  • Patients will be escorted from cars into our office by staff and placed directly into one of our three separate care-areas. Only one family group will be allowed in each care section.
  • A safe Patient-flow through our office area has been established to maintain appropriate distancing and limit contact with your children
  • All our dental procedures will be done efficiently, but with the utmost care for safety and comfort, to limit time spent in our office
  • A Pediatric Dental Group staff member will contact you after your child’s appointment to review procedures performed and any findings – Payments will be taken during that call and future appointments can be scheduled at that time.
  • Dr. Bond will be available to speak with you personally should you have any questions.
